Introducing Arc Flash Study Lite...

OSHA and the NFPA 70E have changed the face of industrial electrical safety awareness. Businesses now recognize the triple threat of electrical hazards: Shock, Arc Flash, and Arc Blast.  Years of OSHA enforcement activity in the industrial sector have led to a high level of attention given to this area, along with Arc Flash Analysis-related products and services designed for this market.

But Arc Flash Hazard isn’t an issue that’s limited to industrial facilities - it’s a workplace safety issue for commercial and public facilities, too.  New requirements in the 2012 edition of NFPA 70E have expanded the scope of this document to include facilities such as: 3PL warehouses, distribution centers, malls, public schools, universities and colleges, even big-box retail space.  They too have the obligation to provide a safe working environment for their employees and third-party electrical contractors, and if their electrical system is meets the criteria specified in NFPA 70E, they must perform an Arc Flash Study in their facility.

D.L. Steiner’s Arc Flash Study Lite program is the result of years of experience in performing Arc Flash studies in industrial markets.  Steiner works with your organization, consulting with you directly to understand your facility’s needs and customizing our approach to each situation.  You get the same quality and professional level service that our industrial clients enjoy, but in an affordable package tailored to your needs.
