D.L. Steiner’s conventional Arc Flash Study is designed specifically for our industrial clients.  Our turnkey Arc Flash solution, from start to finish, provides a quality, in-depth analysis of Short Circuit, Protective Device Coordination, and the Arc Flash Hazard itself.

D.L. Steiner begins the Arc Flash Study with the onsite data collection of the electrical system’s information - single lines, electrical equipment data plate information, protective device settings - and then enters that information into modeling software - SKM Power*Tools®, EasyPower®, or ETAP® - and runs the appropriate analyses.  Based on the model output, D.L. Steiner will produce the engineering report, including recommendations to correct system deficiencies, as well as a detail of opportunities to mitigate the Arc Flash Hazard level at different points in the system (Arc Flash mitigation).

Finally, D.L. Steiner will produce and install the device Arc Flash labeling for your facility and the electrical safety training for your personnel necessary to bring your organization into compliance with the OSHA mandate for workplace safety.
